MacPRIME Developer (Jan-Apr 2024, 4-6 hrs/week for 65 total hours over 12 weeks, 3 positions):

Developers will work collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty members to curate, construct, and refine activities and resources that will be used in the program. These include both mathematical activities (e.g., graphing with desmos, coding in jupyter) and activities related to academic skills (e.g., active studying, time management, navigating university). For 2024, our development phase will include designing and facilitating an in-person workshop for MELD students as well as developing asynchronous activities/tools for incoming students to interact with before they arrive on campus. Associated work may include leading discussions, conducting interviews, and administering surveys. Weekly development meetings will take place on campus; all other work can be done virtually. 


To be eligible for this position, you must be located in Canada and be enrolled as an undergraduate student during the specified time period. Proficiency in python (or other coding languages) is preferred, but not required. Pay rate for this position is equal to other undergraduate TA positions in the Math & Stats department.
